Suggestions for dealing with snails in pumps? Posted: 06 Aug 2019 06:41 AM PDT I have a 3-gallon Marineland shrimp and snail tank and I keep having pumps fail due to baby snails making it into the mechanism. I have tried covering it with sponge but it's never a tight enough fit, or its so tight that it eventually gunks up and the filter stops. Just looking for a way to get the water moving in my tank that I don't have to replace or deal with so often! Recommendations?
