- Lennon loves his new hide
- Temporary tubs rack while renovating all of our tanks
- Final update for toothless: he has mostly healed and the white stuff on the bump was just dead skin and he is on his way to a full recovery he also began to eat again on Sunday and he’s a lot more active now
- They're finally getting their back legs!
- Help, any idea what this red spot would be inside my baby axolotl? He/she is super active and has a big appetite, but this red started growing about a week ago.
- Are Blue LED Lights Cruel? I use them during feeding time so I can see my babies. I posted a pic this weekend and was told this was cruel. I'll post pics in comments, but they are active just fine when I turn them on and even still go to the surface.

Cycle crashed after removing sand. What now?? Posted: 13 Aug 2019 07:15 AM PDT So I removed the sand from my Axolotls tank due to having difficulty keeping it clean and also having paint chips from a crappy ornament embedded in it. My ammonia shot up to 4 while my nitrates and nitrites are 0. I have the axolotl tubbed and he's showing very obvious signs of stress. I know I have to cycle my tank but I need some guidance on how to go about it so that I can get him back into the tank quickly, and on how to minimize stress for him. [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Aug 2019 10:24 AM PDT I need to do a flea fogger in my apartment. I can't leave my axolotl in the apartment, so the day before I plan to give him to a friend to be watched. My question: How long should he be out of the apartment? I have no idea how long something like a fogger will remains in the air or on surfaces. I plan to thoroughly clean where his tank would normally sit before bringing him back. Are there any other steps I should take? [link] [comments]
