- Y’all. This might seem crazy but I’m curious... could someone sell mystery snail clutches? Like, in a tiny container with a slightly moist towel? I feel like if I didn’t have mystery snails a clutch would be an awesome way of getting some lol

Want to Add 1 Nerite and 1 Mystery Snail to Community Aquarium -- Unsure About Water Parameters Posted: 31 Jul 2019 04:09 PM PDT I know that high gh/kh is ideal for snails and that "low" pH will eventually cause shells to pit and even kill snails. My pH is steady in the 6.6-6.7 range, with a gh of 5-6 and a kh of 5-7. I've got crushed coral in the HOB filter. How "bad" is this setup for mystery snails and nerite snails? I'm having trouble pinning down whether anything under 7.0 pH is eventually problematic -- or if the high 6s can work long-term if gh and kh are OK. [link] [comments] | ||
