Is this harmful? Should I take it out or just leave it like this?

Do you need a license to breed shrimp and sell locally?

Why has my red cherry shrimp gone clear? I bought is as a red colour but I noticed this is what happened, the rest of the shrimp are still red but the babies are also quite clear like this one. Someone please help.

Question regarding culling

Posted: 02 Jun 2019 03:28 PM PDT

So I have had my 28G shrimp tank since last November. It started with about 8 orange Neocaridina, and they finally started to reproduce in March. Now that's it's been a couple months there are TONS. Most are a decent sellable quality (talked to my LFS) however I have a few that are clear with orange striped backs (they almost look like tiger reds but orange). I have been putting them in a separate tank as I see them.

My question is, are the males sexually mature before the females? It's obvious when a female is, but males it's harder to tell. I am trying to get them before they are full grown so they don't bring down the quality, but are the males able to mate before being full grown?
