Cloudy/smelly tank

Hey everyone- I just did a while remodel with my 45 gallon tank. I switched from gravel to a fine later of sand, and replaced my pet store filter with an aqua-clear filter with a biomax bag. My tank was super clear but recently it was been getting cloudier and starting to smell odd. Does anyone know the possible cause and how to take care of it? Thanks!

Is stunted growth permanent for my goldfish?

I've had a comet goldfish in a 1 gallon bowl for 4 years, and I just moved him to a 30 gallon tank. He's 3-4 inches long now. Will he get bigger, now that he's in a new tank?

I want to start a patio pond but I don’t have the big budget to do so.

I've researched and it seems that I can get a stock tank for my backyard but I don't know if stock tanks will be great for comet goldfish and on top of that they're very expensive.

Do anyone knows any budget wise alternatives I could use for a patio pond?
