Just a Big Thank You!

Can I put a stainless steel strainer over my small bubble tip anemone? My clownfish is hosting it to death and I need some way to separate them. I don't have any separate tanks to put the clownfish in in the meantime so would this work?

Trying to catch a fish in your tank? Do it at night! 100% catch guarantee.

While fish don't really sleep, they do rest. Best time to catch fish is one hour after your tank and room lights have been off for an hour. After the fish have been in the dark for an hour turn on all the room lights and tank lights and catch your fish. I've caught all fish like this including tangs, damsels, clownfish, and even wrasse. If you can't catch them and the fish start to "wake up," turn off the lights and try again in an hour. I've cleared out my large tank of fish like this in one night after an ich outbreak. Didn't have to take rocks out or get water everywhere.

My firefish has had this bump for maybe 2 weeks under its belly. eating fine if not more, nitrates at 1ppm ammonia obviously 0 salinty 1.026. Is this possibly a worm or parasite or is its belly really full?

How do you cutout a place for hob things without affecting the integrity of the mesh/glass? Just saw a post about someone losing a beautiful fish because it jumped out.. 😭

Returning to the hobby after a long hiatus

Posted: 07 May 2019 06:01 PM PDT

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this but I am getting old info via google etc. Just set up my new 13.5 gallon tank, added live sand and live rock. When I did the cycle before I just threw a piece of shrimp in immediately, but now am reading different info online.

What is the proper way to cycle now?

Does this look like a flatworm? I’ve tried flatworm eXit, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Feeding bubble tip

Posted: 07 May 2019 03:07 PM PDT

So need advice on what I should feed a very small bubble tip anemone in my 3 gallon pico. I've been debating on using frozen mysis bus wasn't sure if that's good enough or if I should just do raw shrimp?
