I'm going to move a couple of my test jars outside to the back deck. Not full sun but around 6 hours. I think the temps in east central Illinois will not drop too low at night. Anyone move theirs outside for the summer?

So my jar is 14 days old and pH, Nitrates and Nitrite levels have been stable for the last few days as below...

15/05 Wednesday 19:35 Temperature: 19.3 °C pH: 7.6 Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrite: 0 ppm Nitrate: 0 ppm

I had been doing 30% water changed and then 20% changes. .my question is do I have to always do water changes if levels stay good?

And how do you guys remove loose or dead plant matter? The hole is too small for a net.
