Can anyone tell me what’s wrong and how I can help him? :(

Quasimodo, my new uggo friend.

Red spot on belly keeps coming and going for the past week or so. There for a day or two, then gone, comes back a couple days later. Water parameters are good, 40 gallon tank, one pearlscale friend, no changes in environment. Sex unknown. Thinking of adding salt. Has anyone seen this before?

tail question

tail question

Hey! So I've only had my goldfish for about three months, and the tail of one of them is concerning me. A bit back (a few weeks ago?) his tail ripped, and I assumed it was from maybe going to hard with being a fish. Tonight I noticed the end of his tail was all ragged though. Been trying to do weekly water changes since I got them. 45 gal with two other fancies, has an airstone and obviously a filter. ammonia: .25 ppm (this is what it's like from my tap, tho) nitrites: 0 nitrate: 10 ppm pH: 6.6

Draining water directly to the sink/faucet?

Posted: 20 May 2019 01:40 PM PDT

Hey everyone, what's up?

I saw a YouTube video a while ago where someone had set up a sort of water pump mechanism where the water from their fish tank was sucked and drained directly to their kitchen sink. How would I go about creating such a set up? It would help me so much with doing water changes.

Is a 10-gallon big enough for one fish?

Posted: 20 May 2019 09:08 AM PDT

A coworker offered me a goldfish and I have an empty 10-gallon tank at home that I've used to house bettas before. He's about 2.5-3 inches long and I've never cared for a goldfish before. Would the 10-gallon be big enough for him or do I need to let him go to a different home? Thanks!
