Does anybody else’s Axie spit out their food?

Posted: 13 May 2019 08:28 PM PDT

So I started feeding Sweetpea chopped nightcrawlers about a week ago. The past two or three days I've noticed she'll instantly gobble the pieces. But each piece she'll chew/gnaw on it for a minute then spit it out? She keeps doing that and will only occasionally eat a piece. This makes feeding like a hour long just for her to eat three or four pieces (the pieces are smaller than the space between her eyes). Anyone else with this problem? Or a solution?

I Think Hedwig Has Gotten A Little Big For His Tree Stump(Sorry for Vertical)

Hello! My girl Rose seems to be doing fine, and takes turns from being pretty active to just chilling at the bottom of the tank, with no excessive floating and no vomiting. She’s eating just fine, but I haven’t seen her poop. Would it be pretty obvious if she did? Or is something wrong? TIA!

Why is he so red? (Maybe you can‘t see it really but it seems like he‘s turning red)

How many axolotl can fit inside a 40 gallon breeder?

Posted: 13 May 2019 01:05 PM PDT

We're planning on getting a 40 gallon breeder so we can house more than one axolotl, we're also planning on going to our local reptile con this weekend. I'm wondering how many we could house.
