| Fish that will eat snail eggs but not snails themselves? Posted: 23 May 2019 05:35 PM PDT Hi! So I'm new to snailkeeping, as I adopted what I thought were the children of my parent's now-deceased mystery snails. It turns out they were acute bladder snails that must've hitched a ride on a plant they got, but I'm still keeping them and migrating them to my new tank once it's cycled anyways. I'm well aware that they breed A LOT, and am constantly finding new egg sacs that I have to scrape off. I don't want them to overpopulate, but I feel bad that I keep killing so many snail eggs. I would feel less bad and it would be overall easier for me if I knew they were at least going to become nutrients for another creature. Are there any fish that will eat their eggs but not the mature snails? [link] [comments]  |
