Bet none of y'all keep these in your shrimp tanks!

This guy has survived Tetras, Whisker Shrimp, multiple tank swaps, whacky water parameters, Planaria infestation, Vorticella outbreak, and most recently Hydra. He’s still going strong.

Berried shrimp

My shrimp managed to climb onto the pump, is this dangerous? Should I raise the water level?

Found leeches in one of my tanks, now what?

I'm still a bit shocked that I captured this footage. Never a dull moment with my Amanos.

Question: Bamboo shrimp not molting?

Posted: 12 Apr 2019 02:11 PM PDT

Do shrimps always molt? I have a bamboo shrimp in my tank for over a month now and I still haven't seen him molt. Should I be concerned?

Several shrimp molted at the same time... Is that a sign of something?

Posted: 12 Apr 2019 04:10 PM PDT

Several shrimp (regular Amano shrimp) molted in my community tank right after I did the last 50% water change. Is that a sign that I stressed them out by doing something wrong? I do regular water changes and this is the first time they've done this.

How to cycle a shrimp tank?

Posted: 12 Apr 2019 05:27 PM PDT

I have a 2.5 gallon tank that I want to cycle for shrimp. I tried shrimp before and they just completely died off and I want to try it again. I will put in cholla wood, moss balls, and some duckweed. I have some ramshorn snails in there already, along with a small HOB filter (it came with the tank, it's a betta tank kit) with a sponge on the intake to keep shrimp from being sucked up and to give them somewhere to forage for food. I want to know how to get the tank properly cycled for shrimp (neocaridina davidi). Thanks
