- This epic thing on Wish
- Super cool axolotl from an expo I saw yesterday!
- Our new 50 gallon lowboy with a custom stand.
- Rainbow in my axie’s tank
- Our little one was being a ham today during tank maintenance. Still doesn’t have a name, open to suggestions!
- my lil brodie Jasper
- I got a cute new axolotl today!
- An Axolotl shitpost
- SOS!! unresponsive, mouth open
- Upon discovering the Repashy Grub pie, Tequila became a queen of chonk. We are now hungry 24/7.
- What? No worms on the feeding rock?!
- I’d like to introduce you all to my gorgeous mistake named Cheeto.
- Is this anything to be concerned about? I just got home from work and his tail is curled at the tip. I’ve only had him a week and he hasn’t done it before.
- Food? So i think Yoshi is ready for WORM soon so once he finishes the last of the brine shrimp I’m gonna start feeding him worm. What kind do you all recommend and how do you judge how big of a piece to feed? Do you just cut up small pieces and feed till he stops eating?
- His gills are slightly shorter and facing down. The other side is fine. Is this bad?
- How can I tell if my axolotl is constipated?
- Got our axolotl in October. We changed filters about a month ago and just this week his tank has slowly gotten foggy. We’ve done two water changes since it started (~15% each) but neither seemed to do anything. Has anyone else experienced this, or know what the issue might be?
- Anyone ever tried to add tiers or levels to their lotl tank? I think they’d appreciate the extra surface area... anyone have pictures?

SOS!! unresponsive, mouth open Posted: 15 Apr 2019 07:43 AM PDT I posted here a couple days ago about my axolotl not eating, and I think it's taken a turn for the worse but I wanted to get any help at all that could maybe save him. I tried fridging, since there was nothing else I could do to help him. I put some dechlorinated water in the fridge for a day and made sure the fridge temp was around 44-46 degrees F, then put my buddy in a tub and placed it with a towel over it in the fridge. I put him in there around 3 pm yesterday, and went in this morning around 9am to place him in the new container and he is not moving at all, and his mouth is open :(( He isn't floating, but when I gently picked him up he went upside down and didn't try to right himself. I guess I just wanted to know if this is at all normal lethargic behavior when being fridged, or if he has passed. I did put him in the new container just in case something changes, but I'm afraid I might be too late to save him. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice, I really appreciate the help in all this. How can I tell if my axolotl is constipated? Posted: 14 Apr 2019 06:18 PM PDT Around Xochi's... place... there's what looks like a small piece of poop that won't come off/out, and I'm wondering if it's a sign of constipation... [link] [comments] | ||
