- How old are axolotls when they can be considered adults? How much should they be fed and how often? My boys are a year old

- Is this a fungus? If so, how do I help my poor axie! I have read salt baths are too harsh for them but also that tea baths and Indian almond leaves don’t do anything to get rid of fungus, only prevent fungus.
- So tonight is day 13 of cycling my tank. I’ve added Tetra safe start the first night. I’ve added API quick start two times since. I also had some media from someone else’s established tank. My Nitrate levels are the only one that’s changed(did a water change to fix). Is it safe to put in my axolotl?

Help with a very sickly axolotl Posted: 06 Apr 2019 11:35 AM PDT So I just picked up an axolotl from an exotic pet store that's in pretty bad shape. The store said she was donated to them in worse conditions because her previous owner was neglecting her or something so I decided to pick her up and try and revive her on my own. I'm going to fridge her now but I wanted to check on here if there's anything else I should/can do, I have another lotl that's healthy so I'm not new to axolotls but I've never felt with one this sickly. Here's a pic of her, she's got some foggy patches on her skin and she's very skinny along with her sickly gills https://m.imgur.com/ZQ1FovC I'll be giving her an earth worm once a day unless you guys think that's too much [link] [comments] |
