We have two baby axolotls that we are struggling to find names for and want to ask for suggestions for them both! Both are 8 weeks old :)

Can you guess their baby axolotl color morphs? For fun only (you aren’t required to participate, but practice makes perfect). Hints: The parents are Spilt Mosaic x Starburst. Their hets are Wild Type, Leucistic, White Albino, Melanoid, Copper, Melanoid Golden Albino & Melanoid Leucistic. :)

Our four axies! The top pictures shows Axel Rose (Rose; male melanoid), Nebula (female wild type), and Speckles (the dumb leustic). This was taken after we had a chemical get into the water so their gills are not as long as they are now. Nebula has really long ones. Bottom picture is Nebula and Speckles' son Caligula. He is mostly gills right now and even has a branched one!

HELP so it’s my first time tubbing my axolotl bc my tank shit itself and every level i have shot through the roof. Is the stiff around the water normal? I’m afraid it’s the fluff of his gills or something.
