Lotls perked up after adding 4 moss balls and an almond leaf. Very active and hungry bois

So I added 4 mossballs to my tank and an almond leaf, and 6 hours later they perk up and swim around and walk and run to me when they see me. I fed them and their vacumm was stronger than ever and they were swimming after my tongs like never before. I'm not sure if they like that their ammonia is going down or the almomd leaf is doing it's healing thing, but my lotls seem so much happier and active and I honestly feel so glad that they perked up like this!

Has anybody else experienced this?
