Is my 23yo fantail ill, sad or lonely? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 09:29 AM PDT I've had this one fish for about 23 yrs now who was with other fish for many years but when its last partner died I got 2 new pups and now all she seems to do recently is sit behind a plant in the corner? The new ones have been there for a year now and dont really bother her much but they are getting bigger and I'm not sure if they really get on or not. Please help [link] [comments] | ||
My Comet goldfish are huge and I dont know how to keep their tank clean! Posted: 22 Mar 2019 09:56 AM PDT I got two comet goldfish from a carnival about a 8 months ago, I had no idea they grew so big! They are around 6 inches long and very fat now (I feed them only Bug Bites goldfish food). I'm buying a bigger tank for them but I have always had trouble keeping their tank clean. I have a 30 dollar tetra filter from petco but it isnt strong enough. How do I get their tank to look squeaky clean? Is there a special type of filter? Also since they are so big is it safe to keep them with those small colored rocks/sand? I'm worried they may mistake it for food and choke on it. I live in a very tiny apartment so is it even possible to accommodate them as they grow? Any help or advice would be appreciated ✌ [link] [comments] |
