Water hardness Posted: 23 Mar 2019 10:38 AM PDT Snailutations, everyone. I am hoping someone can sling some advice my way. My water goes through a filter and water softener before it makes it to my house, so obviously the end product is softer than ideal. I've noticed my snail shells are starting to degrade so I really need to pump up the hardness in the tank. I've read ways to do this with salt, baking soda, etc but I have a feeling snails are not tolerant of salt. Any ideas? Thanks! submitted by /u/BeauBWan [link] [comments]
