- Hi friends! I’m fairly certain this is fungus, but it seems a little more hard than the other wispy photos you’ll get on the internet. I’ve researched treatments and have found varying opinions. Please share any experiences you’ve had with treating fungus! Advice appreciated. He’s still eating!

Posted: 02 Feb 2019 08:31 AM PST Do you guys have any live plant suggestions for my axie tank? It is a bare bottom 20 gal long. I have a strip of leds but I really only turn them on when I'm cleaning/feeding/ or just observing my axie. I've tried hornwort but it started shedding its needles and making a mess in my filter. I also didn't have good luck with duckweed [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Feb 2019 10:28 AM PST I've been struggling with my ammonia levels and was told that I should take the boys out and put them in a different place until the water was better but when I did that they acted really frantic like their gills were bothering them. They would kick their back legs are their gills like it was itchy. I didn't feel like they were safe in the other container so I put them back into their tank and turned off the lights in hopes they could calm down and rest. But now at least one of them is doing it in their normal spot. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help??? [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Feb 2019 10:11 AM PST In a few months I'll be moving from FL to CO about a 22 hour drive possibly with a stop in the middle to sleep. I've tried researching for tips on how I can make this move the safest and least stressful for my axolotl but the only info I can find is for trips < 8 hours. Any ideas on how I could do it? Posted: 02 Feb 2019 10:37 AM PST Hi guys! Sent here from r/aquariums and I was wondering if you guys have some tips for me. I'm planning on keeping axalotls myself. I'm planning on moving my current fish from my aquarium to my sister and keep the axalotls in my own bigger aquarium. Is this any good or do i need to change things? I already know i probably have to change the ground, because at this moment its half sand half gravelish stuff. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

Can I put catfish in my axolotl tank? Posted: 01 Feb 2019 12:32 PM PST Hi! We have recently bought 3 axolotls and lately I have noticed that there's a lot of seaweed on the walls of the tank. So I just want to know if its possible for catfish/shrimps or basically anything that cleans the water to live together with my smol cuties :3 Thank you for answering ^ [link] [comments] |
