Nerite snail not dormant, but *extremely* slow?

Posted: 08 Jun 2021 07:07 AM PDT

So I recently added a new spotted racer nerite to my community tank about 2 weeks ago, and he is extremely inactive but not dormant. It takes him an entire day to move a few inches. I picked him up and stuck him to the front of the glass last week so that I could keep an eye on if for if he was dying or something, and he's still there (on the other end now though). I can watch him crawl and he is going soooooo slowly, like a whole new level of slow. His trap door is not limp and he will retreat a bit if I pick him up.

The other tank members are a betta, 6 cory cats, lots of cherry shrimp, and zebra nerite I've had for about a year who is always very active. 20g long. Parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate, PH 7, unsure GH or KH but I'm working on it.

Is this an okay Diet for nerite and bladder snails? I'm also getting a few ramshorns. I haven't seen them eat but stuff is gone in the morning, the guppies and mollies like the food as well so I'm unsure. I turn the lights off before I feed the snails to give them the best chance.
