Every time I make snello it separates. It's such a mess. It completely disintegrated in the tank. I can never get it right. I've tried to Google it, but no one gives measurements. Anyone have a specific recipe they can share?

Mystery snail is translucent

I was walking past the tank when I noticed that they were up against the glass and I could see their insides. The shell is fine, but their "skin" has become translucent. Why is this happening?

Moving legality issues?

I want to move to Japan (Osaka) in a few years. However, I am a proud owner of many Pomacea bridgesii. I know that Ampullariidae are invasive, so they're likely banned. So, are my little spiked topped ones as well? And, if possible, where can I keep up with any exporting animal information for Japan?

Brand new to keeping snails and am awaiting the arrival of my first 3 later this week. Tested my water this a.m. and am happy with everything except GH. I added Wonder Shells, any other suggestions?

ID freebie snails? The tiny one was with the mystery snails at the fish store. The one between the Zebra Nerites was on a plant. Bonus pic of my new ivory mystery.
