Shrimba

Whenever I fed my shrimps Crab Cuisine, I noticed they'd each grab a single pellet. So I tried hand feeding them and they loved it. Then I realized these two pictures had the same energy.

Decided to throw neocaridinas in my community tank to see if it’s possible. So far they’re still alive, this is also my fist post on here. Thanks for looking at my post!

Starting a new tank

So I am wanting to properly cycle a shrimp only tank but I also want to aquascape a bit. So do I fully cycle a tank with an already completed bonsai and rocks (so I don't have to empty some water of a cycled tank) and then once parameters are good add the plants? I am thinking a bonsai driftwood with Marimo moss balls for the leaves. Will the cycling totally kill the moss? Thanks!

Sorry for the low quality, I can't get the shrimp close enough for my crappy macro lens to focus, but what is going on with my shrimp?
