I’m officially on my third tank, it’s a shrimp tank with a couple Chili Rasboras, I’m loving it! 6 months into the hobby and I’m beyond addicted.

Do turtles eat Monte Carlo carpet? And is it safe for them?

Posted: 19 May 2020 11:34 PM PDT

Hey all I recently decided to add some plants for my turtle tank and was doing a lot of research on them, mainly low tech stuff like Anacharis and hortwort. I was just wondering if my turtle will munch on the Monte Carlo carpet while I'm trying to grow it and make it beautiful, and is it safe for turtles as well? I won't be adding any co2 in there and I'll be using fluval stratum soil

I’m new to planted tanks, this is my first time trying and i’m trying to create a bed of plants, but I’m struggling to create one. Any tips you can give to help, thanks. Ps (should I wait it out and see if it spreads or is there anything else I can do?) it’s been like this for about A month.
