- /r/plantedtank's Weekly Random Acts of Kindness!
- My paludarium with some overgrowth going on
- 6 week update on first ever tank. Walstad with lights only :)
- Finally finished my stand! Solid oak. I planned down and ripped leftover flooring from a project and ended up with this!
- Pre massive trim because the plants were overgrown and chocking each other out.
- New scape!
- After a month, it looks like the stem/carpet plants are starting to settle in. Co2, Fluval 3.0, 20 long. Went for a river-esque look (far right side is still being thought out, currently has Limno aromatica mini)
- My life
- Hardscape done, now for planting...
- This is why I love working from home
- Low tech plant growth in my patio pond.
- Growth after 12 days on CO2
- I caved and replaced my Finnex Planted+ CRV with an ONF Flat ONE Pendant. The difference in light levels is striking as the effect on my plants is obvious too. A minute into installing the ONF all my plants started pearling like crazy! My wallet hates me but it was totally worth it lol
- New light for Walstad kitchen cube
- Honest, officer, I’m just remineralizing water for my planted tank
- Fluval flex 15 island scape. My third scape I have done with this tank.
- Last time I posted people said I didn’t have enough plants to call it a planted tank. So I bought some more! Lemme know how it looks now. :))
- A lovely blooming buse. Very proud of this one.
- Literally watching the grass grow now
- Silly fish trying to be a plant.
- Wanted to share my 4g before I transfer to a UNS 60A
- Alright, sexing time. What do we have here folks? (Accidentally deleted the other post while trying to figure out the best way to share the second photo. Seems to look better line this anyhow.)
- I've developed fur! Best practice for cleaning?
- It’s been a long journey with aquatic plants and I’m proud to say we finally got one to survive and almost possibly thrive?! Sorry for the pic quality.
- Slowly recovering from all kinds of algae
| /r/plantedtank's Weekly Random Acts of Kindness! Posted: 15 May 2020 03:04 PM PDT The Purpose: We all perform tank maintenance. Sometimes, perfectly good plants end up in the trash because they simply outgrow their limited environment. Why not share these plants with another hobbyist? This monthly thread offers a space where buyers and traders can congregate, promote biodiversity, and make the world better. Offering other aquarium-related items for sale or trade is also acceptable, but keep in mind this is a "Random Acts of Kindness" thread. All equipment and plant-life should be offered in either trade or for as cheap as is possible. If you'd like to offer your homemade ferts, foods, or other equipment for retail sale, please visit the plantedtank.net's forums. Posting retail items for sale is not appropriate in this thread and those comments will be removed with a polite warning. The Rules: 1. If you would like to post a "WTB" (want to buy) or ISO (in search of), you must also offer items for RAOK or trade in the same comment. "WTB/ISO" posts that do not offer anything in return will be removed to keep this thread in line with its intended purpose.
Buyer/Seller Feedback: Did you have a remarkable experience with a seller or a buyer? Please message the mods and let us know, whether your feedback be good or bad. Shipping Instructions:
